The History of

The story behind J&D is one of progress and empowerment.

Beginning in the post-war era, founders Robert Johnston and Eggerton Daniel sought out a new way to sell homes. Considering what was once a male-dominant workplace, they changed the way homes were bought and sold. How? By specifically employing women into their workforce.

Smart, well-educated women, who were engrained in the community, came to sell homes in the city’s poshest areas. Female sales representatives from Rosedale, Moore Park, Forest Hill, and Lawrence Park went to work. Their commitment to service came to pave the way for J&D’s future success.

Since then, when people hear about Johnston & Daniel, they know what they are getting. The best homes, in the most luxurious neighbourhoods, with outstanding representation every step of the way. When you work with J&D, it is reflective of your own sense of excellence. That is the way they work, and is the same as the way I do business.
